Every cent of every dollar you donate goes directly towards supporting the educational needs of children or livelihood needs of families. As a policy, we do not provide cash directly to the beneficiary but rather assess their need and purchase the required items e.g. school books, pay for school fees or purchase required items for those starting a business etc.

Yes, provided it is within a safe space, we encourage direct interaction between sponsor and sponsor child. This meeting often allows sponsors to understand the immense impact of their contribution on their sponsor child’s life. Should you wish to meet your sponsor child, please contact us directly and we will speak to their families to make arrangements where possible.

We have a variety of partnerships with local Not For Profit organisations and volunteers in Sri Lanka. Through these connnections we are continually informed which children and organisations require the most help. The Anbaalayam Team also go to Sri Lanka every other year and visit all of our ongoing projects and sponsor children to verify their authenticity and needs.

We are constantly on the lookout for volunteers to support our work. If you are interested in joining us to make a difference on a regular basis or would like to support us with certain events, we would love to hear from you.
