Lest We Forget Anbaalayam Australia was honoured to join a consortium of Tamil associations, alongside members from other Tamil Associations across NSW, in commemorating Anzac Day. Together, we paid tribute to the courage, sacrifice, and enduring spirit of all who served. It was a meaningful moment of unity, reflection, and respect across our community.

Sanitation Project – Eastern Province, Valaichenai. Two underprivileged families received much-needed sanitary support through the construction of proper toilet facilities. A heartfelt thank you to Vannam Surendran for your generous support in making this possible.

Education and Livelihood – Eastern Province, Valaichchenai – August 2025 Three school-going children who commute long distances due to poor transport facilities in their villages, and three hardworking men whose livelihoods depend on reliable transportation – have been supported with bicycles.

Community support – Eastern Province, Kallampathai – June 2026 This small community was struggling without a tent for use in the village during funerals, community gatherings, and other important events. For many years, they had to rent tents whenever needed, placing a significant financial burden on the community organization, which did not have sufficient funds

Livelihood – Eastern Province, Kallampathai – June 2026 These elderly grandparents, who are caring for their grandchildren after they lost their parents, were struggling to make a living without a chicken coop.
