Community support – Eastern Province, Kallampathai – June 2026
This small community was struggling without a tent for use in the village during funerals, community gatherings, and other important events. For many years, they had to rent tents whenever needed, placing a significant financial burden on the community organization, which did not have sufficient funds to purchase its own.
Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors, Kumaran Kanesh & Tharmini Kumar from Sydney, two tents were purchased and shipped to the village. This valuable contribution will serve the community for many years to come, reducing ongoing expenses and ensuring that families have access to shelter for important occasions when they need it most.
