A family with three young children in Trincomalee is in urgent need of assistance. The father, previously a laborer, can no longer work due to suffering from a heart attack. Consequently, the mother has been forced to beg for money in the local city. Anbaalayam have supported this family by purchasing a bike for their

Woman who earns a small income through a hopper business also takes care of her daughter with mental health challenges and her granddaughter. With much responsibility care taking for her daughter and granddaughter, she struggles to make an income that covers the basic needs of the family. Family with yound children had an well that was unsafe and exposed, creating a dangerous hazard, especially with young children around the area. Anbaalayam have supported this family to build the side walls and clean up the area to ensure a safer and more accessible well for the family.

This young family in Vaharai was living in a home that was unstable, falling apart, and exposed to the elements and wildlife. This environment was unsafe and stressful, especially for bringing up their two young children. Anbaalayam has assisted this family with purchase of materials and labour to restore this home that is more secure

20 families were supported with dry rations to address urgent needs. This project, similar to many others, is part of Anbaalayam Australia ongoing efforts to provide immediate relief to those facing challenging times. Anbaalayam have funded materials and labour to build a toilet for a number of families to share and use in a common area to address immediate need for a safe, private and usable toilet. Thank you Pushpam for funding this project for a much-needed facility for these 5 families.

Family in remote village have no access to toilet in their home due to unusable condition and the pit is covered, as a result, they must resort to using their neighbours bathroom.
