Two bicycles were donated to young school children to help them commute to school and tuition classes. They live in villages with very limited transportation facilities.

Kallampathai village in Trincomalee is a remote area with limited facilities. The villagers have been struggling to access both drinking water and water for farming. This elevated water tank will provide much-needed support to many families in the village.

People in these areas are living under severe hardship, with damaged roofs that are uninhabitable. We have repaired several houses by installing new roofing to prevent leaks during the rainy season. This is one more house completed in this village.

Thirty-five boxes filled with much-needed, good-quality clothes and footwear were packed and sent to various parts of the hill country ( Kotagala , Nuwara Eliya, Maskeliya ). Thank you to everyone who supported this project and to all the volunteers who helped with the packing.

This elderly mother was selling fish in an open area, braving all kinds of weather. She needed a small shopfront for her fish stall to improve her business and income. We were able to build a small structure in front of her house, providing her with a comfortable place to sit and conduct her sales.

Our farm was awarded the Best Farm in Environmentalism at a function held at Northern Pradeshaya Saba. Our farm manager, Sarnuja, received the award. Congratulations to all our dedicated staff at the farm Our farm products were also exhibited at this function.

A single mother, who earns a living by buying vegetables from farms and selling them for a small profit in her village, was struggling with an unreliable old bicycle. She needed a new bicycle, a basket, and a digital weighing scale to improve her income. She travels several kilometers to purchase and sell these vegetables.

Jaffna Hindu 1986 batchmates from Australia, London, and Sri Lanka visited our organic farm in Maaviddapuram. They enjoyed a farm tour along with a freshly cooked lunch made from organic produce.
