A request was made by ASSIST RR, which has successfully executed numerous similar initiatives in the past, to support 100 surgeries, and funding was successfully raised for 41 of them. In total, 111 surgeries were carried out at Galle National Hospital – Karapitiya with the collaboration of medical professionals from Karapitiya, Ratnapura, and Colombo.
The medical team expressed their gratitude for the support that made these surgeries possible, benefiting 111 patients in need. Contributions came from multiple sources, including Anbaalayam and supporters from various regions.
