A family with three young children in Trincomalee is in urgent need of assistance. The father, previously a laborer, can no longer work due to suffering from a heart attack. Consequently, the mother has been forced to beg for money in the local city.
Anbaalayam have supported this family by purchasing a bike for their school aged son to travel to school that is 4km away and provided them with a chicken coop and chickens to assist them with immediate needs, creating a more stable and sustainable source of income for the family.
