Shelter – Eastern Province, Vakarai – September 2025
During our visit to this village earlier this year, we came across an unfinished and abandoned house owned by two young sisters who had lost their parents. They had been living with relatives due to the incomplete state of their family home. We were able to complete the construction of the house, allowing them to live independently and with dignity.
