A total of 48 pairs of school shoes were purchased to benefit school children in need. This initiative aimed to ensure that each child possesses a reliable and comfortable pair of shoes to support them in their educational journey. Building used as educational and community space (Araneri/English classes/Community events) required extensive restoration. This building will bring local families together to create and maintain a welcoming community space. Thank you to our generous sponsor who funded this whole project.

Community member in rural area of Trincomalee suffers from condition that impacts his spine and mobility. Unable to complete normal day to day duties, he is dependent on his family for support. With no accessible toilets and having to manage with great difficulty, Anbaalayam funded building of disability toilet facility which is now complete.

Financial loan given to young community member in rural area of Hatton to increase income from his soap business. Community member worked with Anbaalayam to create a business plan that would allow him to build up a business that could be sustained, grow and increase income for his household. 3 bikes donated to children in Mullaitivu district. Previously finding it difficult due to transport issues, these bikes will assist children to access school through the use of these bikes. Thank you to Jeeva (Mullaitivu) for implementing this project.

Working family with young children had their goat shed repaired in addition to two goats being donated to assist with farming needs. This initiative will help this family with sustainable and increased household income. Thank you David Arul for sponsoring this project.

Support requested to provide stationary items to 26 children who are living below the poverty line in Muthur. School bags and notebooks were purchased and provided to each child for daily use when attending school. Thank you to Paskaran Kurukkal for facilitating this project.

Up to 70 students attend a Sunday School in Bogawatte who come from families that work in the surrounding estates. Volunteers run this school and requested nutritious meals for the next few weeks to improve students health and increase school attendance rates. Thank you to Ram Aruna for sponsoring this project.

14 families have been provided interest free loans to help with the development of their farms to assist with ongoing improved household income. Thank you to Jeeva Nedunkerni for assisting in implementing this project.
