In Puthukudiyiruppu – Mullaitivu, this mother operated a small shop. During our visit, she asked for a loan to purchase more stock for her shop and enhance her income. She was given a loan by Anbaalayam to support her business and she will repay the money in instalments.

Anbaalayam Australia helped a struggling man with a wheelchair for his mobility. Thank you, Sivajothi Jo, for helping us with the implementation.

When we visited this mother of three (who recently lost one of her children due to an accident), she was struggling without a new food cart to run her catering business. A new food cart has been provided for her to use and earn a decent income to support her family.  

Our sponsor Mr Subramaniam Thees (Suba Subathasan – Sydney), donated 2 school-going children with bicycles for their school commuting, to celebrate his son’s wedding engagement in Fiji on 9 September 2023.    

Our sponsor Mr Subramaniam Thees (Suba Subathasan – Sydney), donated much needed school books to a pre-school in Kopai and 62 umbrellas to young school kids in Thanduwan ( mullaitivu ) area, to celebrate his son’s wedding in Sydney on 3 September 2023.    

Supported two schools in Hatton and Batticaloa to purchase scholarship exam past papers to assist students who are sitting their exams this year.  

An elderly man who does fishing for livelihood and a child who needed a bicycle for school commuting were both supported. Thank you Rednam Nesan for implementing this project.
